Can't get this to work with Github pages urls

Everything exports to the Github repo perfectly, but in the process of conversion it ignores what I set it to, and therefore doesn’t work for Github pages unless I manually go through and set all the URLs (which I did test for the homepage). The second I try navigate elsewhere I get a 404.

I have the destination URL set to: https://darknessflowers.github.io/portfoliotest
but it then changes that to: https://darknessflowers.github.io/

which means of course it then can’t find anything because that’s not where the files are saved.

Please help! Thank you.

ah, yes, it doesn’t and for near future, won’t support a subdirectory in the destination URL.

It will be fine if you export your whole portfolio site to https://darknessflowers.github.io

it may be easier in this case, if you don’t have a spare domain to dedicate to your folio, to use Netlify’s free subdomain static hosting, such as https://darknessflowers.netlify.app
